Senior R&D Engineer - Low voltage

Your task at this position:

• Provide technical support for European customers and R&D headquarter.
• Investigate and understand the application and technical requirements from customers in different segments.
• Define the best technical solution and align with the customers.
• Propose and instruct product changes or customization to R&D teams when needed.
• Provide technical support for on-site issues of product or system.
• Understand and evaluate the technical competition and technical trend.
• New technology investigation and research.
• Investigate the technical standards especially the local standards, participate to the working group if possible.
• Responsible for the new product localization where needed.
• Works collaboratively with other department to drive all R&D Project delivery.

Our expectations from you:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• 5+years experiences in low Voltage electrical components design.
• Extensive materials knowledge, Familiar with manufacture processes of various parts. Such as plastic injection molding, metal stamping, brazing, heat treatment, galvanizing etc.
• Familiar with MS office tools, Pro/E, Solid works, CAD and other related tools
• R&D project management experience is preferred.
• Good teamwork spirit, able to adapt to cross-cultural working environment and to take responsibility and pressure
• Agile thinking, with innovative spirit and consciousness
• Good communication skills, fluent English both in written and oral
